Alexandre Parodi

Alexandre Parodi (1901–1979) was a French diplomat and the first ambassador of France to the United Nations.[1]

Career

Beginning in 1926, Parodi was a member of the State Council. Before World War II, Parodi was the assistant secretary general of the National Economic Council (now the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council). During the war, he served as the general delegate for the French Committee of National Liberation. From 1944–1945, Parodi was the Minister of Work and Social Security. From 1945 to 1960, Parodi worked as a French diplomat.[1]
