Adam Tooze
Adam Tooze (born in 1967) is a British historian and was Reader in Modern European Economic History at the University of Cambridge and professor at Yale University. In 2002, he was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize for Modern History. As of Summer 2015[update], he is a professor of history at Columbia University.
After graduating in economics from Cambridge, Tooze studied at FU Berlin before moving to LSE for a doctorate in economic history.[1]
He is currently best known for his economic study of the Third Reich, The Wages of Destruction, which was one of the winners of the Wolfson History Prize for 2006.
