Witney Rebuild
Starting from September 2008, the Witney campus was due to be rebuilt with final approval expected in December 2008. To prepare for this, a temporary "learning village" was built consisting of 57 temporary cabins into which all 600 full-time students, plus staff were moved into at a cost of £44,000 a month. However, in early March 2009, the LSC who were due to fund the rebuild announced that the project had been put on hold indefinitely, along with 78 other similar schemes around the country following the economic downturn.[citation needed]
Abingdon Build
In Easter 2013 Abingdon Campus started a building project for an engineering building. In January 2014 the campus started renovations, which are expected to finish by April 2014 and open in early May.[2]
