Idaho's Very Own 24/7 (formerly known as 24/7 NewsChannel, still known as 24/7 by some) is a local channel operated by Tegna, Inc. through KTVB in the Boise, Idaho Media market.

Programming

The channel primarily features simulcast and repeat broadcasts of KTVB's news programs. It also airs Boise State University athletic telecasts - including football and basketball. It airs shows like Inside Bronco Football on Wednesday nights and the Idaho Coaches Show on Thursday nights. Both shows are shown at 10:30 p.m. with repeats, shown the following day at 12:30 p.m.

Though originally billed as a 24-hour news channel, in recent years, it was leaning to more of a general entertainment-formatted station with the addition of syndicated programming (listed below) seen on 24/7:

In addition, the station also airs reruns of Judge Judy, first-run episodes are seen on 7.1. Also, the station serves as an alternate NBC station, airing programming when KTVB has other commitments.

Local newscasts and sports programming

24/7 simulcasts the following from the main channel:

• KTVB Idaho's NewsChannel 7 Morning News, weekdays from 5:00-7:00 a.m. and Saturdays from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
• KTVB Idaho's NewsChannel 7 at 5:00, weekends from 5:00-5:30 p.m.
• KTVB Idaho's NewsChannel 7 at 6:00, Saturdays from 6:00-6:30 p.m.
• KTVB Idaho's NewsChannel 7 at 10:00, nightly from 10:00-10:30 p.m.

• • All weekend newscasts are shown in its regularly scheduled times, in case of NBC Sports preempting KTVB's regular newscasts on its main channel (ex. Ryder Cup, Sunday Night Football, College Football, etc.).

24/7 airs the following exclusive programs from KTVB:

• 24/7 Morning News, weekdays from 7:00-8:00 a.m.
• Friday Night Flights, Fridays from 10:30-11:00 p.m. (High School Football coverage during the season)

• • 24/7 also airs Sunday Sports Xtra from KTVB, a half-hour later from the main channel at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday nights.

24/7 repeats the weekday hour-long noon newscast from 1:00-2:00 p.m. as well as repeating the nightly 10:00 p.m. newscast, Friday Night Flights and Sunday Sports Xtra on their respective nights, throughout the night.

24/7 can be seen in the Boise area:

• On a sub-channel of KTVB's digital signal (located at 7.2)
• On cable channel 13 of Cable One's Boise cable system

In the Twin Falls area:

• On a sub-channel of KTFT-LD's digital signal (located at 7.8)
• On cable channel 13 of Cable One's Twin Falls cable system
