The 2016–17 season is Shrewsbury Town's 131st year in existence and their second consecutive season in League One after finishing in 20th place the previous season.[1]
The club will also participate in the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Football League Trophy.
The season covers the period from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017.
