"¡Basta Ya!" ("Enough already!") is a song written by Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís. The song was first performed by Puerto Rican singer, Olga Tañón, on her first Latin pop crossover album, Nuevos Senderos in 1996. Released as the lead single, the song became first number-one hit for Tañón on the Hot Latin Tracks chart. At the 9th Lo Nuestro Awards received a nomination for Pop Song of the Year.[1]

"¡Basta Ya!" was released as the first single from Mexican norteño band Conjunto Primavera's 2007 studio album El Amor Que Nunca Fue. The single reached number-one, making it the second time in the history of Hot Latin Tracks that a song has reached number-one by two different artists. The two musicians had also made a duet on the Mexican version of "Desilusioname".

In 2011, Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera covered "¡Basta Ya!" on her twelfth studio album Joyas Prestadas. She recorded the song in Latin pop and banda for both the pop and banda versions of Joyas Prestadas. Both versions of "¡Basta Ya!" were released as the lead single from the album on August 29, 2011.[4] In the United States, the song peaked at number fourteen on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and number six on the Billboard Regional Mexican Songs chart.[5][6] In Mexico, the song reached number one the Monitor Latino charts and number three on the Billboard Mexican Airplay chart.[7][8] A music video was released for the pop version of the song which was directed by Ricardo Moreno and filmed in Los Angeles, California.[9]
