Stephen Cornwallis

Major-General Stephen Cornwallis (23 December 1703 – 12 May 1743) was a British Army officer who served as Member of Parliament for Eye from 1727 to his death.

He was the third son of Charles Cornwallis, 4th Baron Cornwallis; his elder brother was Charles Cornwallis, 1st Earl Cornwallis, and his younger brothers were Edward Cornwallis, and Frederick Cornwallis. His nephews were Charles Cornwallis, 1st Marquess Cornwallis, James Cornwallis, 4th Earl Cornwallis, and William Cornwallis.
