Sans parti - Citoyens constituants ("the party for those without a party - constituent citizens") is a political party in the Canadian province of Quebec. It was founded in 2011 as the Coalition pour la constituante (constituent's party) when the Mouvement des Sans-Parti issued its manifesto, which was signed by over 500 supporters. The party changed its name in 2013 to Parti des sans parti and in 2016 to its current name.

Ideology

The main policy point in the party's ideology is the creation of a constituent assembly via random draw which will help "give freedom to citizens to decide on the type of society, state and government they want". They advocate for elected deputy's duty to consult theyr co-citizens and vote according to their circonscription's opinions instead of their party line. Although they officialy have a leader by law, theyr direct democracy renders this role obsolete and they use spokepersons instead.
