"Mighty to Save"
Song

"Mighty to Save" is a contemporary Christian gospel and worship song written by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan and part of the repertoire of Hillsong Church. The rights to the song are registered for Hillsong Publishing. The song has been adopted as an occasional song of worship by many Evangelical churches.

The song was the title track of the Hillsong 2006 album Mighty to Save released 2 July 2006 and recorded live on 5 March 2006 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney, Australia. In that 6 minute 50 second rendition, Reuben Morgan was the worship leader, with supporting main vocals by Darlene Zschech & Joel Houston.

The lyrics praise the might of Jesus as "The Hope of the Nation" and "Author of Salvation" and that he can move the mountains (referring to Matthew 17:20) and that he conquered the grave (referring to his Resurrection). The bridge repeats the faith in him as Saviour:

We're singing, for the glory of the risen king
