Megastachya is a genus of African plants in the grass family.[5][6][7]

- Megastachya mucronata (Poir.) P.Beauv. - Madagascar, South Africa, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Central African Republic, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, etc.[4][9][10]
