Eleonora Pons-Maronese (born June 25, 1996 in Venezuela), more commonly known as Lele Pons, is an Internet personality most notable for her six-second video loops on the video-sharing service Vine. As of September 30, 2015, Pons has hit 7 billion loops on Vine which makes her the most looped person on Vine. She is also the most followed female star on Vine.

Many of Pons's videos consist of practical jokes on herself, her friends, classmates, and her family.

Pons was born in Venezuela, having moved to the United States at age five.[1] Since immigrating to the US, Pons has resided in Miami, Florida.[2] Pons graduated from Miami Country Day High School in 2015 and she moved from Miami to LA.

Her book Surviving High School, cowritten with New York Times bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz, was released in April 2016.

Lele appeared in the first 7 minutes of the second season of the American horror TV show Scream in 2016.

Pons received her first phone at age 15, and was soon introduced to Vine by one of her friends, stating, "I started with my friends, and I started becoming good. At first it was just being really creative—it wasn't even funny stuff."[1] Pons would become one of the app's most prominent users, becoming the first user to surpass 1 billion video loops.[1][3] As of September 1, 2015, Pons' account remains the most looped of all time with over 6.7 billion loops.[4] In addition, Pons' account ranks within the top five in terms of followers, with over 10.6 million as of March 14, 2016.[4] Pons is credited as being a creator of the phrase "Do It For The Vine".[2][5]

Pons' Vines have been met with positive reception; in 2014, she earned a Teen Choice Awards nomination for "Choice Viner" as well as a Streamy Awards nomination for "Viner of the Year," and a subsequent Shorty Awards nomination for Vine Star of the Year in 2015.[6][7][8] Additionally, Aol.com included Pons on their list of the "10 most entertaining Latino stars on Vine."[9]

In addition to her Vine popularity, Pons has about 5 million Instagram followers.[2]
