Knockmore (Irish: Cnoc Mór) is a village in County Mayo, Ireland in the Parish of Backs and is adjacent to Lough Conn. It is situated between the towns of Castlebar and Ballina.

Knockmore GAA Club

Knockmore has one of the most successful Gaelic football teams in Mayo. They have won 8 Mayo Senior Football Championships, three Connacht Senior Club Football Championships, and in 1997 they reached the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Final but lost to Crossmaglen Rangers. Knockmore players have played inter-county football for Mayo include Padraig Brogan, Peter Butler, Seamus Weir, Ray Dempsey, Kevin O'Neill and Kevin McLoughlin.
