Lakisha Kimberly "Kish" Robinson (born May 10, 1990), better known by her stage name Kilo Kish, is an American vocalist,[1] songwriter, visual artist, painter, and fashion/textile designer.

Early life
Kish was born in Orlando, Florida on May 10, 1990 to a family of African-American descent. She went to elementary school in Bergen County, New Jersey, but later returned to Orlando.
At age 18, Kish received a partial scholarship to go to Pratt Institute, New York. While taking a year off and working multiple jobs, she began establishing relationships and cultivating her New York experience. During this time she worked at a salon, as an intern, various night-life restaurants, and modeling gigs for numerous brands. Kish continued her education by enrolling into Fashion Institute of Technology (for textile design) and graduated in 2012.
Her musical pursuits began when her roommates Smash Simmons and Mell McCloud decided to set up an in-home studio and call the project the Kool Kats Klub. It was through this exposure that she initially met Matt Martians of the neo-soul duo The Internet and collaborated on The Jet Age of Tomorrow's "Want you Still" and The Internet's "Ode to a Dream".
Career
Homeschool
Released on April 2, 2012, Homeschool was well-received and garnered Kish attention from publications such as Complex,[2] making their 2012 best albums list. The EP's production is handled by past collaborators such as The Internet and Pyramid Vritra of The Jet Age of Tomorrow, who also provides guest vocals on the project.
On July 31, 2012, Kish released "Watergun"[1] (via Soundcloud), a song produced by The Internet.
On September 17, 2012, "Navy" was released on The Blue Rider record label.[3] A video for "Navy", as self-directed by Kish with Ben Rayner, premiered on The Fader[4] the same day.
This release also contains a remix of "Navy" by MeLo-X.
K+
The K+ mixtape was released for free download on February 7, 2013. Contributors include Childish Gambino, Star Slinger, SBTRKT, A$AP Ferg of A$AP Mob, Earl Sweatshirt and Matt Martians of OFWGKTA, among others.
In December 2013 Kilo Kish released K+ THE BOOK as an extension to her successful mixtape. It offers a digitized magazine filled with behind-the-scenes photos, art, and videos featuring many of the artists she collaborated with and can be downloaded on iTunes and Amazon.[5]
Across
Across EP was released on July 8, 2014 with fashion music label/ brand Maison Kitsune.
Reflections in Real Time
Kilo Kish's first studio album, Reflections in Real Time was released on February 29, 2016.
