"Jombolo" is a song by Nigerian recording artist Iyanya. It was officially released on June 12, 2013 as the sixth single from his second studio album, Desire (2013). It debuted at number one on 360nobs' Top 10 Most Downloaded Songs Chart from July 21 through July 27, 2013.[1] The song, produced by GospelOnDeBeatz, features highlife sensation Flavour N'abania.[2][3]
Music video
The music video for the single was directed by Sesan.[4] There were lots of waist movements and beautiful women in the video.[4]
Accolades
The music video for "Jombolo" was nominated for "Best High Life Video" and "Best Use of Choreography" at the 2013 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).[5][6] The music video for "Jombolo" was also nominated for Most Gifted Afro Pop at the 2014 Channel O Music Video Awards.[7]
