The General Scholastic Ability Test (Chinese: 大學學科能力測驗 Pinyin: Dàxué xuékē nénglì cèyàn)[1] is the Taiwanese university entrance exam. The test is administered over two days; subjects include Mandarin Chinese, English, mathematics, science, and social studies.[1] In recent years,[when?] the test has attempted to encourage students to read outside of their classwork and be attuned to current events by including questions related to the Ebola virus, climate change,[2] 3G technology, and Spider Man.[3][4]
