"Everyone's Gone to the Moon" is a song that was written and recorded as the debut single of the British singer-songwriter and record producer Jonathan King. The song was released in 1965 while King was still an undergraduate at Cambridge University.[1]

Released by Decca Records, it reached no.4 in the UK,[2] and no.17 in the US Billboard Hot 100.[3][4] It has since been performed by other artists, including Marlene Dietrich,[5] Chad & Jeremy, Doris Day, The Flaming Lips, Nina Simone, The Lettermen,[6] Dana,[7] Bobby Womack,[8] Jan & Dean,[9] and Percy Faith.[10]
