Elena Keldibekova (born June 23, 1974 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, USSR) is a Peruvian volleyball player who plays as setter for the Peruvian national team.

Personal life
Born in Kazakhstan, she moved to Peru when she was 19 years old. She married the Peruvian former volleyball player Johnny Westreicher.[1] With Westreicher, Keldibekovava had a son name named Jan.[2]
Career
Keldibekova arrived to Peru and played the 1996/97 season with Regatas Lima.[3] She was selected to play with the Peruvian National Team in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.[4] Her team finished winless in tied 11th place.[5]
In 2009 she claimed the Peruvian League Championship with her club Regatas Lima, after defeating Latino Amisa.[6][3]
Elena became famous because of her saving kick during the qualification tournament to the 2010 World Championship, when she saved a ball during the semifinals against Argentina.[7][8]
Elena won the Best Setter award and the silver medal in the 2010 Pan-American Cup.[9] Later she won the silver medal, as well the Best Server and Best Setter awards at the 2010 Final Four Cup, held in Peru.[10][11]
Playing with her national team in Montreux, Switzerland at the 2011 Montreux Volley Masters, she won the Best Setter award, even when her team ended up in 7th place.[12][13]
At the 2011 Pan-American Cup, Elena was awarded with the Best Setter award,[14] also finishing 8th with her national team[15]
Due to Patricia Soto, captain of Peru's national team, injuries before the 2011 World Grand Prix and the first round of the 2011 South American Championship, Elena was the captain of the team for both tournaments.[16] She played for the Italian team Time Volley Matera in 2012.[17]
Coaching
Elena signed with her former Peruvian club Regatas Lima to play the 2012-13 and 13-14 seasons.[18]
Elena became the assistant coach of Regatas Lima' men's volleyball team that finished third at the 2013 season.
