Clinton Ford (painter)

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Clinton S. Ford Sr. was a 20th-century American painter, born in Richmond, Virginia in 1923. He died at his home in Chesterfield, Virginia on January 8, 2006.[1]

He enlisted in the Virginia National Guard during the Second World War, and was sent to Europe as a paratrooper. His artworks reflects his experiences at such places as the Battle of the Bulge and Nijmegen.

An exhibition of his work took place at the Richard Bland College library, Petersburg, Virginia in the November/December 2000.[2]
