Christopher Mogere Obure (born 1950) is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Bobasi Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the December 2007 parliamentary election.[1] He was born in Boigesa Village on January 1, 1950, in the then larger Bobasi Machoge Constituency which has since been split into Bobasi Conctituency and Bomachoge Constituency. He is the Minister for Public Works in the current coalition Government which was formed after the Accord signed before the former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete. He worked for Kenya Breweries Limited (now East Africa Breweries) before joining politics.
