Adela eldorada is a moth of the Adelidae family or fairy longhorn moths. It was described by Powell in 1969. It is found from Washington to California.[2]
The length of the forewings is 5.3-6.9 mm. The forewings of the males are black with three transverse yellow-white bands. The hindwings are brownish black, reflecting metallic purplish. There are usually two yellow-white spots near the hind margin. Females have dark metallic green forewings with three pale yellow bands. The hindwings are dark brown, reflecting metallic purplish.[3]
