The Junior women's race at the 2004 IAAF World Cross Country Championships was held at the Ossegem Park in Bruxelles, Belgium, on March 20, 2004. Reports onf the event were given in the New York Times,[1] and for the IAAF.[2]

According to an unofficial count, 115 athletes from 35 countries participated in the Junior women's race. This is in agreement with the official numbers as published.[9] The announced athlete from Zimbabwe did not show.[4][5]
