Background
The song was featured in a Chevrolet commercial because of T.I.'s reference to the Chevrolet Impala. He was later given an endorsement deal for the company. The song was used many times during Making the Band 4, as the contestants did several dances to the instrumental version of this song. This song is featured on DANCE! Online, a multiplayer online casual rhythm game.
Remix
The remix features fellow American rappers Young Jeezy, Young Dro, Big Kuntry King and B.G.. T.I. performed the remix, minus Young Jeezy, at the BET Hip Hop Awards on November 15, 2006. Jeezy did not perform with T.I. partly because he had already performed three times at the award show. In replacement of Jeezy, T.I. performed his first verse from the original version.
The song was also remixed in 2007, by American rapper Lil Wayne, freestyling over the song's beat for his highly acclaimed mixtape Da Drought 3. The freestyle was titled "Seat Down Low".
Music video
T.I. also filmed and released the music video for the remix. The video premiered on BET's Access Granted, on December 6, 2005. The video was filmed in Miami, at an airport. The first scene begins with Young Jeezy rapping his verse, describing different cars by comparing the colors to other objects. During that scene they are showing a bunch of different cars and rims. After that scene T.I. was rapping the chorus to song. Next scene is Young Dro rapping. He was standing next to a lime green chevy which matched the pants he was wearing. He was describing the cars he has by comparing them to other objects, and the size of rims. The cars in the video were provided by General Motors
Third scene is Big Kuntry King rapping his verse. He was shown sitting in the car with a bunch of ladies. He was describing how he always driving his cars. Fourth scene is B.G. a.k.a. Baby Gangsta, rapping in a calm fashion and standing in front of a dark red car with a bunch of other women. Last scene is T.I., who was energized in the video. People have mentioned that T.I. was acting wild and violently in the video. T.I. makes reference to his deceased friend, Phil, in the line where he says, "... I cut it up I bet I can let Phil hear it..." while he points to the sky. He also makes reference to Phil's killers when he says "I'm lookin for them niggaz, where they at? Stop hidin'!".
At the end, when the two T.I.'s are racing, it is symbolizing his alter egos, T.I. and T.I.P. T.I. is in a new Chevrolet Corvette, and is well dressed. T.I.P. is in the yellow, late 60's Chevrolet Camaro and is wearing a leather coat and cocked hat.
T.I. appeared in Chevrolet's Super Bowl XLI commercial performing his single Top Back Remix. Also it appeared in Chevrolet's Impala commercial, only portions of the video can be seen. Also T.I. replaced "...with a chopper in the back..." with "...with in Impala gettin black..." (the lyrics from his verse in the remix) in the commercial.
A silver Fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro concept is also seen in the video.
