Sri Madvirat Veerabrahmendra Swami Charitra (Telugu: శ్రీమద్విరాట్ వీరబ్రహ్మేంద్ర స్వామి చరిత్ర) is a 1984 Telugu hagiographical film produced & directed by N. T. Rama Rao on his Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner. NTR portrayed the characters of Gautama Buddha, Vemana, Ramanuja and Adi Shankara in addition to the title role of Pothuluri Veerabrahmam. NTR acted in this film while he was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Rati Agnihotri, Satyanarayana, Kanchana in other important roles and music composed by Susarla Dakshinamurthi.
Plot
The story is based on the life of Pothuluri Veerabrahmam (N. T. Rama Rao) a well-known saint and astrologer of the 17th century. A brief life of Gautama Buddha, Ramanuja, Adi Shankara and Vemana (all essayed by NTR) are shown at the beginning of the film.
