Shabir Ahluwalia is an Indian television actor and host.
He debuted with the show Hip Hip Hurray, but has gained recognition from the television show Kahiin to Hoga. Apart from this Ahluwalia has acted in many television series which are Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2002), Kahi To Milenge (2002), Kkavyanjali (2005), Kasamh Se (2006), Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2007), Kayamath (2008) and many more.
Ahluwalia has also won the third season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. He has also contested in a reality show named Dhammal Express. He has hosted reality shows like Nach Baliye, Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega and Dancing Queen
He made his debut in Bollywood with film Shootout at Lokhandwala. His second film was Mission Istanbul (2008).[4]
Currently, he portrays the role of Abhishek Prem Mehra on Kumkum Bhagya.[5]

Life and family
Shabbir Ahluwalia was born on 10 August 1979 to a Sikh father and a Catholic mother in Mumbai.[1] He also has two siblings Shefali Ahluwalia and Sameer Ahluwalia.[1] He did his schooling from St. Xavier's High School, Vile Parle.[6] He completed his graduation from University of Maryland, College Park.[6][7] He married his girlfriend actress Kanchi Kaul in 2011.[2] In 2014 they became parents to a baby boy whom they named Azai.[8] In 2016, they became parents to a second son.[9]
