Radio Silence is a quartet of filmmakers based in Los Angeles.[1]
The group is known for their previous work as Chad, Matt & Rob, the final segment (10/31/98) in the feature film V/H/S and 20th Century Fox's Devil's Due, and Southbound which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.[2][3][4]

Members
Radio Silence was formed in 2011 by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Justin Martinez and Chad Villella. The collective had worked together previously as Chad, Matt & Rob.[5]
- Matt Bettinelli-Olpin is originally from Oakland, CA and founding guitarist of the punk band Link 80. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
- Tyler Gillett is originally from Flagstaff, AZ.
- Justin Martinez is originally from Tucson, AZ and a graduate of the University of Arizona.
- Chad Villella is originally from Punxsutawney, PA and a graduate of Mercyhurst College and an original member of the Center for Information Research Analysis And Training (CIRAT).

The quartet first worked together on a series of Interactive Adventures and a found footage short film called Mountain Devil Prank Fails Horribly for the Chad, Matt & Rob website.[6][7]
V/H/S
Radio Silence's segment of V/H/S is titled 10/31/98 and the story is set on Halloween as a group of friends go in search for a Halloween party.
According to an interview with Complex, Radio Silence was brought into the V/H/S fold after producer Brad Miska saw Mountain Devil Prank Fails Horribly. Their segment was shot over four days around Los Angeles in August 2011. [8]
Devil's Due
In 2014, the group's horror thriller Devil's Due was released by 20th Century Fox.
Southbound
Southbound premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by the Orchard for release in 2016.[9]
