→National Highway 80 (NH 80) is a National Highway in Eastern India that links Mokamah, Bihar to Farrakka in West Bengal.This Highway connects two major cities of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Munger to capital city Patna. This 310 kilometres (190 mi)-long [1] highway passes through three states – Bihar 200 km (120 mi), Jharkhand 100 km (62 mi) and West Bengal 10 km (6.2 mi) of India. NH 80 passes through Lakhisarai - Jamalpur - Munger - Bhagalpur - Kahalgaon - Rajmahal. It meets NH 34 at Farrakka.The 125 km stretch of Munger-Bhagalpur-Mirzachowki section of NH-80 will be converted into four lanes for smooth flow of traffic between Munger and Bhagalpur.around Rs 2200 cr has been allotted by Government of India for four laning purpose.
