Loreto is an interchange subway station serving Line 1 and Line 2 of Milan Metro. The station opened in 1964 as part of Line 1 and is a node of interchange with the Line 2 since 1969.

The station is located in Piazzale Loreto within the municipal area of Milan. It's a very busy station, and the municipality has a plan for its expansion.[citation needed] This is an underground station, with 2 tracks in a single cane for Line 1 overriding 2 tracks in one barrel for Line 2.
