Koorkenchery

Koorkenchery is a southern suburb of Thrissur City in Kerala state, South India. It is a major residential and commercial area of the City. Sri Maheswara Temple is located there. The famous Pooyam festival is celebrated in the temple on Pooyam day, star in the Malayalam calendar month of Makaram(January or February).
