Mark Hulse is an English fitness guru and currently appointed Fitness Coach at Manchester United
Biography
Hulse is a graduate of Loughborough University and played for Loughborough Students Football Club.[1]
In June 2006 Hulse was appointed fitness coach at Crystal Palace when Peter Taylor became manager. They had previously worked together with England Under-21. Hulse left Crystal Palace after working shortly with Neil Warnock in October 2007 and almost joined Bolton Wanderers under Sammy Lee, only for the deal to fall through when Lee was sacked.[2]
In May 2008 Hulse was appointed fitness coach at Newcastle United to replace the departing fitness coach Adrian Lamb. Later in July Geordie Robbie Elliott returned to his hometown club to work under Hulse as strength and conditioning coach.[2]
Hulse tried the Italian Way on request from Kevin Keegan, and put the Newcastle United players through two tough sessions a day in the buildup towards the 2008-2009 season.[3]
In June 2009 Hulse left Newcastle United to join Liverpool in a similar position.[4]
Hulse joined Manchester United in 2011 as fitness coach.
