Kenneth Riches

The Rt. Rev. Kenneth Riches (1908–1999) was an Anglican Bishop during the second half of the 20th century.
Educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School[1] and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, he was ordained in 1933. His first post was at St Mary’s Portsea,[2] after which he became Chaplain at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.[3] Following wartime service as a Chaplain to the Forces he was appointed Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon. In 1952 he ascended to the Episcopate[4] as Bishop of Dorchester and was translated to Lincoln five years later.[5]
