Irongate is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Irongate had a population of 119.[1]

Geography
Irongate Conservation Park is a 29.035 hectares (71.75 acres) protected area off Wallingford Road in the south of the locality (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.).[3]
The land use is a mixture of crop growing and grazing on native vegetation.[4]
History
Iron Gate State School (also written as Irongate State School) opened on 17 January 1910 and closed on 10 February 1963.[5] It was at 941 Irongate Road (junction with Mondam Road, Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.).[6][4]
