Hestvika is a village in the municipality of Hitra in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located on the southeastern tip of the island of Hitra along the Trondheimsleia, about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) east of Sandstad and the Hitra Tunnel. The 0.33-square-kilometre (82-acre) village has a population (2013) of 265.[1]
Hestvika has a marina suitable for light watercraft[3] The Børøyholmen lighthouse lies about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) to the northeast of the marina. The fishing village has various industries including fish processing.[4]
