Twardocice [tfardɔˈt͡ɕit͡sɛ] (German: Harpersdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pielgrzymka, within Złotoryja County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in the Lower Silesia province of Prussia (Germany).

It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Pielgrzymka, 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Złotoryja, and 89 kilometres (55 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Until the early 18th century, Harpersdorf (now Twardocice) was the home of the Schwenkfelders. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
