Summary
This photograph was taken by me at the Kalleshvara temple (also spelt Kalleshwara or Kallesvara) at Bagali (called Balgali in ancient times), Davangere district, Karnataka state, India. The temple construction was started in the late Rashtrakuta period and completed by Western (Kalyani) Chalukya King Tailapa II in 987 A.D.
