Summary
Still image of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/tomogram" class="extiw" title="en:tomogram">tomogram</a> of a fingertip, depicting <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/stratum_corneum" class="extiw" title="en:stratum corneum">stratum corneum</a> (~500µm thick) with stratum disjunctum on top and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/stratum_lucidum" class="extiw" title="en:stratum lucidum">stratum lucidum</a> (connection to stratum spinosum) in the middle.
