Summary
Workers completing a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_Conservation_Corps" class="extiw" title="en:Civilian Conservation Corps">Civilian Conservation Corps</a> barracks in 1934 at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Lakes_State_Park" class="extiw" title="en:Green Lakes State Park">Green Lakes State Park</a> in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fayetteville,_New_York" class="extiw" title="en:Fayetteville, New York">Fayetteville, New York</a>. The park was the site for project SP-12 and the associated CCC camp. The barracks were occupied at various times by CCC companies 1203 and 2211 until the camp's closing in November, 1941. After the entry of the United States into World War II in 1941, the facilities were re-opened to house German prisoners of war.
