“A <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Korea" title="Korea">Korean</a> fishing <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_(ship)" class="extiw" title="w:Junk (ship)">junk</a> with sails, May 1871. This photograph was taken before <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_the_United_States" class="extiw" title="w:Military of the United States">the Americans</a> reached, and anchored at, the mouth of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Han_River_(Korea)" class="extiw" title="w:Han River (Korea)">Han river</a>.
