Summary
Following the ordination of an orthodox priest, the newly ordained priest then takes part in the further celebration of the Liturgy. After the transmutation of the Holy Gifts, the Bishop presents to him a portion of the Lamb(i.e., the Body of Christ), with the words: "Receive this pledge and preserve it whole and intact 'unto thy latest breath, for thou shalt be held to account for it at the second and dread coming of our Lord, and God, and Savior, Jesus Christ'"
