• Ampelosaurus is known from multiple specimens, however there are few articulated remains, so the proportions shown here are not certain.

• Ampelosaurus is known to have supported osteoderms, the number and position of these osteoderms are not certain. It's thought that due to the rarity of titanosaur osteoderms that they would be quite sparse on the body.
