Summary

The hydrolysis of the aluminium Lewis acid Al3+aq shows the species concentrations for a 5×10−6M solution of an aluminium salt as a function of pH. Each concentration is shown as a percentage of the total aluminium. The data (available in the talk page) was generated using <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.hyperquad.co.uk/hyss.htm">HySS2009</a> software application and was plotted using <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/python_(programming_language)" class="extiw" title="w:python (programming language)">python</a> script given below.
