Blyth Academy is a private company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that offers secondary education and educational credit programs. Branches of Blyth include: Blyth Academy and Blyth Academy International Summers & Community Service, Blyth Academy Global High School and Cambridge Scholars.

Blyth Academy

Blyth Academy is a private co-ed high school that provides full-time, part-time, summer, and private courses. The Academy currently has nine campuses in the Ontario Region: Yorkville, Thornhill, Mississauga, Burlington, Ottawa, London, and Whitby, with two new campuses opening in Waterloo (Sept 2016) and Downsview Park (March 2016). The Academy operates on a four-term academic year, in which students take two courses per term with three two-hour periods per day. Class sizes are typically small, ranging from six to eight students.[1] All campuses, with the exception of Blyth Burlington, offer courses for students in Grades 9-12. Blyth Burlington has a specialized Middle Years program and offers courses for students in Grades 5-12. The Blyth Burlington campus also offers an optional Elite Athletes program, with flexible schedules for student-athletes.

Educational partners include the Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Museum of Ontario, Toronto International Film Festival, Outward Bound Canada and Don Valley Brick Works.[2] Students can take courses held at the Royal Ontario Museum and Outward Bound Canada in a joint program with the Academy. Students can also take courses at all four Partnerships in the summer through Blyth's Summer in the City programs. Blyth offers full-time students an Integrated Travel studies option.

Scholarships and bursaries are available for full-time students who are in need of financial aid.

Blyth Academy Florence

In September 2016, Blyth Academy is opening up its first campus in Italy in Florence, offering Alberta curiculum courses for Canadian Students

Blyth-Templeton Academy (Washington D.C.)

Blyth-Templeton Academy is a collaboration between two visionary education groups – Blyth Academy and Templeton Learning – who have come together to bring the highly successful and innovative educational model of Blyth Academy in Canada to the United States. Blyth-Templeton Academy in Washington, D.C. is their first U.S. school and is founded on the principles of best practices for teaching and learning that have proven to be transformative for students in Blyth Academy.

Keller/Templeton family members have been innovators in U.S. education for more than four decades, co- founding Keller Graduate School of Management in 1973 and most recently creating Templeton Learning to address student and family needs in K-12 education.

Blyth Academy International Summers

Programs are structured to include program managers, teachers and support staff. On-site learning is encouraged on all international programs. Blyth offers 21 different programs, to 28 countries on five continents:[3]

Students can choose from grade 11 or 12 Ministry of Ontario-approved courses. Average class size is 12, led by certified instructors.

Needs-based scholarships provide partial to full funding.

Global High School

Through Blyth Academy Global High School, Grade 11 and 12 students will travel around the world, studying and earning high school credits. Students can enroll for as little as a ten-week term or for the full four terms of their academic year. Students earn two credits per term.

Cambridge Scholars

The Blyth Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarships are offered annually to Canadian high school graduates who wish to take their undergraduate degree at Cambridge University. The successful candidates are granted admission to the College of their choice at Cambridge University, full tuition for three years of undergraduate study, travel costs and a full living allowance. The scholarships are awarded to students with superior academic achievement who for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to attend Cambridge University.
