Touche pas à mon poste! (also known as TPMP) is a French live TV show broadcast on D8 produced by H2O Production which deals with the TV actuality and medias. Presented by Cyril Hanouna, the show is broadcast from Monday to Friday at 7:00 pm. But it's also repeated all day long on the channel. First broadcast on France 4 on Thursday in the second part of the evening around 10:40 pm (and rebroadcast for 3 days) from April 1, 2010,[1] the show was transferred on D8 from October 2012. Since September 2, 2013, the show is also broadcast in Belgium on Plug RTL[2] at 7:20 pm.

Touche Pas à Mon Poste is a shocking public and "must see" from the current week. It also discusses new shows and airs via segments like "Je zappe, je mate" and "Vu/Pas vu à la télé" ("I Zap, I Mate" and "Seen/Not Seen on TV"). Each show, 2 or 3 famous persons talk about their own news and about the type of shows they watch, usually leaving time for them to be questioned.

The idea of this show is simple: to see or to see again striking pictures of the week in the best spirit possible and with good rhythm. But it’s not a simply review of pictures from the zapping because Cyril Hanouna and his team of journalists discuss on new and/or polemical TV shows without forgetting the pictures to not miss, with some heading like "je zappe, je mate" or the "vu/pas vu à la télé" ( "I zap/ I watch" or "seen/not seen at TV"). Two or three guests talk about their life and the show that they watch during each TPMP show and sometimes it’s the opportunity to do some challenges.

History

In May 2012 while still presented by Cyril Hanouna, the show, Touche pas à mon poste!, transferred to the new channel D8, with its usual columnists: , Jean-Michel Maire, Jean-Luc Lemoine, and Christophe Carrière. The program offers a new formula with new sections led by Camille Combal or Bertrand Chameroy and Cartman’s entertainments accompanied by Nicolas Bouvard and occasionally Vincent Desagnat. In 2013, other columnists recruited by will join the team. Columnist Elodie Gossuin made her comeback on the show in February 2014.

The show is on television from Monday through Friday, broadcasting live everyday except Friday. It is then rebroadcast in the late evening and again the next day at 9:00 A.M. Since September 2, 2013, the program has been broadcast in on with a slight .

The show is presented by Cyril Hanouna. During his absences, especially on Fridays, he was first replaced by Jean-Luc Lemoine, then by Enora Malagré and Valerie Benaim during seasons 4 and 5, and subsequently by Julien Courbet.

Originally, the program of November 20, 2015 was having for theme paranormal , but that program has been replaced by a special program to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015 in France (Touche pas à mon poste! it's only love).[64][65] Finally, the program based on the paranormal is broadcast live in access prime time, Thursday, January 21, 2016 , with guests as Igor and Grishka Bogdanov.[66][67][68] Apart from the special program "Touche pas à mon poste ! it's only love" all the emission were cancelled.[69][70]

Notable incidences

During season 4, Cyril Hanouna could not always be present, and the presenter job was given to Daphne Roulier. During the 2014–2015 seasons, a different viewer acted as a columnist every two weeks.

In October 2013, Gerard Louvin was temporarily away from the show after slapping an assistant director during the filming of a sequence. The columnist was with Cyril Hanouna and Tefa. Seeing the danger of an accident with the in the windy conditions, Gerard Louvin became angry and slapped the assistant director. He came on the set as a guest on Monday to apologize. On April 19, 2016, while Touche pas à mon poste! was broadcast live, Cyril Hanouna decided to send Gilles Verdez, disguised as a pizza deliverer, into the changing room of Joey starr while he was preparing himself for Nouvelle Star! The french rapper wasn't in the mood and slapped Gilles Verdez in the head. Cyril Hanouna become angry[83] and threat not to return the antenna as long as the rapper didn't make excuses. Because Joey Starr didn't made any excuses, Hanouna decided to cancel the day's transmission in solidarity with Gilles Verdez.
