The Pirre hummingbird (Goethalsia bella), also somewhat misleadingly[2] known as the rufous-cheeked hummingbird, is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is the only species in its genus.
Found in Colombia and Panama, its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
