"Big Sur" is the third single released by Irish band The Thrills, off their debut album So Much for the City. It was released on 9 June 2003. The song reached #17 on the UK Charts, making it the most successful single release from the band so far. The song contains elements from "(Theme from) The Monkees". The song is about Californian tourist destination Big Sur.
